hey i was just wondering what if i send my transcript and LOR's by fedex overnight mailing...would that help me in that they will receive my materials quicker???
 
I don't necessarily think it's the mailing that is what takes so much time because some people fax their LOR's and Transcripts over. It just takes time for them to be able to process everything, for me it took them close to 4 weeks to process my materials for the application.

That worked for me... my friend sent hers out before I did but I sent my transcripts overnight and it was processed in 2 days and my friends wasnt processed until a week later.
 
Guess we got to wait until somebody in the officeemails the decisions.
 
ahhh nothing at 12:01 am! ya i sent one of my LOR overnight and it still took almost 2 weeks for them to process it!
 
12:05AM no admissions decision. so much for midnight.

check back tomorrow morning 7AM before 8AM organic.
 
aww no automatic response..I kinda suspected that there wont be oh well i gues we will find out later today! yikes!
 
i figure if it isnt up at 12 then it wont be up until 8am when they open. Even though its a Holiday. 8 am are their office hours

i was almost half expecting an email saying that the admissions decisions would be pushed back because of the bad weather in the DC area. nonetheless i just want to know!
 
Man, I don't know how I'm falling asleep tonight. I'm too psyched for this.
 
8AM organic for me too.. except I have an exam!! I don't know which I am more nervous about, these results or taking that exam =[

Do any of your sites still have nothing next to them? I'm a little REALLY worried.

I have an exam in the morning too! I don't know if I should check smdep before the exam or after...if i do it before and don't get in, i'll enter the test sad and distracted. but if i don't check it before I go in, then i'll be wondering about it all throughout the exam.
 
Weird they don't open until 9:30AM. I just went onto the site and there was this message:

NOTE: The SMDEP National Program Office and most SMDEP program sites will be closed on Monday, February 15 in honor of President's Day.

wonder if we'll find out today?

It shouldn't matter if they're closed or not, our notifications are automated so they probably set a time when our status page changes. Check back in a few hours!

i dont think we are going to get a response till like the 930 when they supposedly open but since you say they are closed idk....oh well we have to get it today anyway lol

We should definitely hear from all the sites by noon since the west coast SMDEP offices will be open by 9. One person on the previous page did say he/she called the DC office and the lady said we will be getting a decision today no matter what ... anyways, I'll be keeping my iPod touch close with me all day since I have all 5 of my classes non-stop from 9-3. Keep everyone posted on developments.
 
naijagirl44, I hope you did well on your exam. I think i totally failed my organic chem exam.. arghh!! Yeah i kept wondering if I should check before or after, i decided to check after and there's still nothing on there! 🙁

I really hope they have it up soon.. the wait just makes things worse.

I have nothing.. whats letter does your last name start with? And when was your application complete? I wonder if they are doing it alphabetically OR by when your stuff was complete

wow ur sooo lucky! my last name starts with "J" and i was complete jan 5th! no order at all.
 
I was complete on 12/07, hopefully I'm not waiting much longer
 
mine was also complete on 12/07 but I applied to the Dental program (I don't see why that would be different).

still no reply...

Rejected from Yale 🙁 What a bummer. Still waiting on Wash and UCLA.
 
Ohhhh the wait is killing me!!! I applied at Houston(1st choice), Nebraska, and Columbia.

I'm Asian American aswell, what was your GPA if you don't mind? I'm sitting around a 3.87
 
oh man I don't wanna hear this. I'm Burmese (asian) and white...hopefully not a double whammy.

I have a 3.6 which isn't the greatest GPA in the world either.
