In your shoes I'd be looking for a "graduate course" that serves as a long "audition rotation" at a facility which hosts the kind of residency you want.
That could theoretically help you get a residency.
Otherwise, grad study of any kind after med school is only going to add age to your board scores and lessen your competitiveness for residency.
