Anybody know of dental schools who seriously consider candidates doing well in an SMP or postbacc? Some schools it seems like don't really care until AFTER you graduate from the program. That just seems pointless to me and a waste of time because you have to wait until you graduate to apply. One school that I know is friendly is Indiana University School of Dentistry. I encourage anybody who is in an SMP and is going well in it to apply there if they want to become a dentist. Speak to Dr. Kasberg too, he's sooo cool!!

Well a lot of SMPs are desgined to be 1.5yrs with you applying between the 1 and the 0.5.

A lot of times people need the grades of a whole year to help their application, so its not really that stupid.

NYU, Tufts, Nova, Temple, BU...all these schools I know of people who got interviews while in an SMP
