I have a few questions for those of you who are doing the special masters program (SMP) or planning to do it:

1) what exactly do they teach you.? does it depend on your major?, like if you are biology major you can do SMP in biology, or chemistry majors can do SMP in chemistry, can someone please clarify that cuz I don't get it.

2) for texas residents do you know any universities around the dallas, Richardson, or denton areas that have this program, I already asked UTA, SMU, TCU, but they don't have it, so please let me know if you know any,

A lot of the SMPs I found involved getting an MBS (Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences). Basically, they are specifically geared for pre-med/pre-dent students who plan on going to med/dent schools but need to raise their GPA a bit. I didn't find any in Texas while doing my search, but there are several out there.
