I'm in an interesting predicament. I was supposed to take the MCAT today (actually yesterday but that's a whole other story...), and after a weekend of approx 6+ hours on the phone with AAMC and Prometric combined, the 3 centers I switched between all shut down due to weather and/or technical difficulties. I can't take the makeup on February 3 because I'll be out of the country (and after going through all of my options, it's just entirely too expensive for me to switch my plane ticket or change/delay my plans - I either lose all the money I've already spent for my trip, or literally spend double to reschedule my flight so last minute!) It doesn't seem worth it.
Unfortunately, the stress continue... I'm just not sure how to progress with my studying for the April 1st date. I have around 200 Qs from AAMCs question/section banks left that I didn't get a chance to go through, which is good for practicing closer to the date. I've finished all the EK exams and both AAMC official exams, and from all my scores I was expecting to hit around 515. I'm looking at the bright side and using this as an opportunity to (h0pefully) bump up that projected score. I feel comfortable with a lot of the content in a general way, but could use brushing up on specifics using my Anki decks.
If you were me, what would you focus on for the next ~2 months? Daily flashcards, and constant practice? Should I review the same content I've been using from the EK books or switch to a different set of books (I have access to Kaplan, TPR and TBR from friends who've let me borrow books)? I'm just not sure where I should focus my time to hit a higher score (and also how not to let all the info I have in my head now decay by April!)
