This is going to sound like an insanely stupid question but I haven't taken the DAT yet and I'm just looking at some general information.

On some websites (like Kaplan and a few others) it says we have 60 minutes to do 50 problems on the reading comprehension section.

While on other sites, and in this Kaplan book I have from 2004 - it says 50 minutes for 50 questions.

So which is it?! Thanks for your responses in advance

Its 60 minutes, I was confused at first too, I am not sure if it used to be 50 minutes, but I know it is 60:luck:

thanks a lot - yea it was definitely kind of confusing.

I just did a practice RC section and if it was 50 minutes long I'm in deep trouble about timing. If it's 60 I finished with about 1 minute to go and did really well actually.

on Canadian DAT, RC is 50 min (on paper)
on American DAT, RC is 60 min (on computer)

Exactly.

On the old American DAT it was 50 mins. That was with paper.

When they changed to computers, they gave us an extra 10 minutes for a total of 60.
