I dunno. I left plenty of original reasonings behind my problems with Sar's play. haha

It is hard as a noob when people put their eye towards you, but you will learn if you can trust your instincts, or if you suck this game but can find a villager with an on game to support, or somewhere in between, the game is better. This honestly is why imo the most important thing to do as villager is to form a block. People you trust in game and can share on thread reasoning for why someone is or isn't a good vote. Yes, you'll be burned occasionally, but I believe it must happen for village to win.

Everyone was a bit frazzled after losing VAR overnight. Who would be there to make sure the ref didn't have any bad calls? Who would there be to blame for delays of game and calling offside to the letter of the law? They moved on, disgruntledly beginning to point fingers once the sun rose.

Insults were hurled, cleats were chucked, and tantrums thrown. Eventually, this all resulted in a tie. The best way to solve a tie? Kicks from the mark.

Five players from each team were designated to take a kick for their team. One goalkeeper in particular is known for her ability to stop PKs. This game, however, couldn't be solved with her harsh tongue and aggressive attitude.

I actually get the rationale, tbh. Both SAR and Barks voted me for self-prez, which is whatever. Cubs rightly noted similarities in my playing style to how I played last game- there's no real way I can convince anyone that that's just how I am unless I flip, so that's just how it's gonna be. I just really do not dig killer's last-hour lynch of me when the only reason was "last game"- little late in the day to be voting based off of grudges. I suppose I can buy that Wolfie just never came back all day to put a real vote down, don't dig that but at least she voted me way early on.

It is, but village still has a decent number of day 1 lynches with good discussion. This was a fun evening in my opinion with good discussion and no eye injuries with too harsh of play. I do feel for barks though. I'm pretty sure she gets lynched often early. And it sucks probably even more as a wolf. bahahahaa

This is only my second WW game so I don't know who is often lynched early and who isn't.

What I do know is how hard it is to be lynched early in the game so I'm sorry Bark.

Hopefully another game is created soon so that you can play.

no need to feel bad. That is the nice thing about running so many games, is that there is always the next game for either redemption and/or completely blowing it. lol

Not going to place too much stock in these just yet, but I know if people had looked more closely at the mayor votes in the noob game after they flipped a few wolves, they would've caught me, so not going to discard these either. Will say that Wolfie leaving her """joke""" vote on me all day + returning 4 minutes after results + voting the same place as Barks for captain- with the same exact joke reason ("because snacks")- has me feeling some kind of way.

Hmmmm. Yes.
Lesson #4 and 1/2: Only get emotional every 5th post so there is still some rational for people to follow. All caps tends to scare folks.

@Wolfie<3 What's your reads list? Would you have changed your vote on me to someone else if you were around before lynch close and, if so, to who?
 
Also, interesting that Barks didn’t seem to have a power in the writeup but also wasn’t listed as a vanilla wolf. Anyone with more experience than me have any thoughts?
 
Okay, I managed to catch up properly this time and formulate some reads. Sorry the format is ****, tbh I wanna go watch the Witcher before I have to go to sleep.


Bigcats - lots of initial fluff but reads and votes are justified. I like this noob and we should keep them
Sunbodi - spewed village
Wolfie - light wolf read. Promised to read the thread "in a bit", never followed through. Timing feels mildly opportunistic (but also congrats on the acceptance because that showed up on my iso since it's broken)
Cubs - feels a bit fluffy but I've liked his last 4 or so posts so a neutral-village lean for that
Killerleaf - not enough to go on here. Definitely flying under the radar
MsP - giving reads and thoughts; more meaningful participation than I feel like I'm used to. Village points for this
Genny - feels like village genny (And Lupin, I did an iso of myself but apparently even when I put a read on genny I keep it to myself or I was a faction not-village. I did have a correct read in NH48 but with the search function being annoying I didn't go through a lot of games. But you'll just have to accept that I feel like I can read genny, even if it's not in the literature [hard for a vet, I know 😛 ])
Nav - feels like village Nav with his rapid fire this morning
Lupin - village points, but honestly Lupin scares me so I never believe my village read even when I make it
Coffee - feels very defensive(?) of noobs and teachery on thread without actually providing a whole lot of her own thoughts? Soft wolf, but with hesitance because I feel like I tend to wolf read and be wrong here
Mutts - need more participation, not enough to go on (But @Sunbodi is incorrect, she has posted 6 times, not 3)
Wondering - wolfy lean. Something just feels off based on tone. Snappy, quick to jump to defenses, feels like jumpy noob wolf. Made noises about not wanting a tie but didn't do anything about it. Maybe because they couldn't without looking sketchy?
Mel/Stagg - Mel's post about game balance felt very angle-shooty to me which isn't normally something I associate with him, pinged my radar and gave wolf points based largely on that. Do also need more here to go on though
Alissa - also tone reading a bit wolfy. Lots of posts but very little content other than reasons why there wasn't any content
MPM - Feels village but I think the last time I said this she was wolfy AF so probably going to tuck her more towards neutral for now

After catching and getting rid of the teammate who had tried to sabotage them, the rest of the team slept easy that night. The next morning they assembled on the field ready to play and were met by a familiar face.

I want to point out I was suspicious of BigCats pretty early on in the noob game (until they pocketed me :lame: ). I am not getting the same wolfy vibes from BigCats as I did in the noob game

Don’t read into this too much guys. I mostly voted for cubs for the meme and because yes, his profile pic creeped me out. It’s much better now @cubsrule4e

“Reading through I started to Wonder what happened to Wondering....strong presence all over the thread at all times in noob game almost matching bigcats, then seems to be laying in the background this game. Only day 1 though, and did pick up activity later in the day.

- can’t remember who said this but I accidentally deleted the quote tags and I didn’t want to stop in the middle of my train of thought to go fetch it again
