1-real control of the border including deporting criminals who are illegals, and limiting fundamentalist (muslim) terrorists from entering the country
2- parental rights, including limiting state interference and/or hiding information from parents.
3- Meritocracy in higher education and employment, including stopping the ridiculous spread of DEI
4- Utilizing our natural resources of oil and gas, both to improve the US economy and so we are not dependent on unscrupulous counties for anything. I will add that the most ridiculous actions I've seen taken by the UK and EU is to stop producing their own energy and then end up buying energy from other countries at higher prices, and the counties from which they purchase their energy typically pollute the air and environment much more than if the western countries produced that energy themselves.
5-Cut jobs and waste in the US government. Not perfect to be sure, but much more of that has occurred in the last 2 years than in all of Biden's presidency
6- Protect biologic women from mentally ill men who want to compete in women's sports and spend time in women's restrooms and showers.
7- Protect children from doing irreversible harm to themselves via surgery, hormones, etc, at ages when a child cannot consent, and cannot understand.
8- Decrease regulation stifling business, home builders, and innovation in America.
9- Decrease government waste by requiring able bodied people who receive free federal healthcare, (medicaid) to work.
10-Protecting democratic elections by requiring government photo ID. (if you have to show ID at your doctor, airport, to buy beer, you can show it at the ballot box).
a. noone is wanting the US to turn to the Russia model.
please please stop with this nonsense.
the rest of your comments are representative of the false narrative that you have devoured from right wing media.
b 1.the border is an issue, and democrats have tried to slow illegal immigration but you fail to see what was done because it was such a high yield republican talking point. obama doubled the size of border security including surveillance equipment. the admin essentially halted the growth of immigrant population in the US (it went from roughly 3.5 million to 12 million during the bush presidency to 11 million in 2015 during obama's time (see link #1 below). it was actually going up during the last few months of trumps term in office and increased during biden's term by 4 million.
2. meritocracy in higher ed is another right-wing talking point that is a false flag. it is meant to demean higher education because increased education almost invariably leads to more liberal viewpoints as individuals are exposed to different viewpoints and become more empathetic, one of the purposes of DEI.
3. we do not own oil and gas resources. we own land and we give companies discounts and tax breaks so they can get the oil and sell it for huge profits. we are dependent on these huge corporations who do not have the US best interest and are only interested in corporate profit. did gas prices go down when all those tankers came to the US?
5. Doge - we are paying 154,000 people not to work. none of the supposed DOGE savings have not been verified. the proported amount saved would have been 0.5% of the deficit. DOGE also had to go back and rehire multiple people that they fired (including nuclear regulators)
6. how many trans men participate in female pro sports? zero.
how many trans men participate in female ncaa sports? <10 in other words, 0.002% of NCAA participants.
if you are concerned about this, why are we not banning women who are, say >6ft 5 in or can bench over 200 pounds? or statistically, 6 ft 7 inches, because that number is essentially zero.
7. it is well proven that bottom surgery is not being provided by anyone under the age 18 anywhere in the US. apparently, top surgery is rare but possible for 16 year old with
both parent consent. but apparently fully believe that kindergarten teachers are doing surgery on the side during nap time and reading time...
8. regulations are meant to protect the average american from unscrupulous behavior that constantly occurs as companies try to cut corners, sometimes literally (see Surfside tragedy with Florida lawmakers (gasp!) response as a classic example)
9. the amount of government waste in this issue is wildly exaggerated. 92% of medicaid recipients work or have valid exemptions.
10. time and again, it is not the federal government that gets to regulate elections. it is the state. requiring a federal mandate to show id is not constitutional. if a state wants to have a government id, then they should provide one for free to all citizens, because otherwise it is a poll tax and that is against the law. interestingly, republicans refuse the idea of providing all eligible voters with a free voter id... and again, you are buying in to the fear. these claims at best represent 1/100th of 1% of ballots submitted. (link 3). none of these affected any election.

This resource collects allegations that ineligible noncitizens are voting in large numbers and shows that they all amounted to nothing remotely significant. It also rounds up independent research on the issue.
