Socializing at interviews...hooking up?

If you do meet a guy there, then exchange numbers and meet up AFTER interview day. Then no one will give a s**t. But to hook up during? That's unprofessional and trashy.

hm would the night of still be considered the same day? i tend to stay in high-end hotels so if we went back to my room after interviews are done with for the day would that be acceptable? sorry it just seems there are all these new rules i have yet to encounter until now..

It's only acceptable if you take back multiple people at once. Anyone who wants to participate really. Don't want to be excluding people from the get go like that, might give a bad impression

I wouldn't do that either. This is a gray area, because a counter-argument would be "well we went out to a bar AFTER interview day so it doesn't count." Well, why are you in the town in the first place? You're not at a formal with a date; this isn't a date party; and you're not just visiting from out of town. You're here for your future in medical school. There needs to be a fine line between social life and professional.

I mean, if you don't really care for being known as THAT girl that sleeps with a guy the night she met him, then it doesn't matter what you do that day. I used to do it (albeit in appropriate settings) and so has my girlfriend. I don't think hookups are wrong, but there is a time to do it and a time not to. And interview day is NOT the day to do it.

Normally, I am against this sort of thing, but you know what? You're asking for it. Many, many people here have had the same reaction to your question, and you're just trying to find loopholes.

Do it. Hook up with every guy that meets your fancy. You're obviously determined, so go ahead.

It'll be slightly less competition for everyone else on your interview day that actually has the capacity to act mature, the way a future physician should.
