General surgeons hate everyone and life in general.
This may have been asked before, but I was curious which other medical specialties general surgeons dislike the most? My guess is anesthesiology. I noticed a general animosity between the two groups.
This seems like a pointless type thread, but hopefully it will serve as bait for a classic mysterioso posting

His last ones (under Dontbanmebro) got deleted!
ah, memories. LOLAs an aside, I loved Dead Like Me and was so pissed when it (along with Carnivale) went off the air.
Many of the old guard general surgeons really dislike plastic surgery. If you are a student or GS resident interested in plastics you should keep it to yourself.
Well to start with everyone hates the dumping ground that is the ER and their physicians, but I would also add anesthesiologists and radiologists.

*fingers crossed*
Definitely the ER.....told me he had a bulge on his belly that he couldn't push back in so I figured I should give you guys a call. I didn't actually see it myself though..."
Grrr....
If you think it's bad now, wait until you get into private practice. It's been my experience that General Surgeons tend to be most aggravated by internal medicine. Some of them are very good, and some of them couldn't diagnose a toothache if it was their own. smetimes it makes for some just plain unnecessary surgery. Some of those internal medicine bozos just happen to specialize in emergency medicine.
