Yes it officially happened to me....after weeks of proofreading (even sent to other people!) i found a spelling error on my CAF/Resume.

It's pretty minor but noticeable.

Are my chances of matching doomed? Any advice? I know there is nothing I can do about it now 🙁

Seriously, take some xanax and relax. Everyone makes mistakes, and I doubt ONE spelling error is gonna kill a whole application. Unless your application was already in trouble to begin with. But hey, what the heck do I know. Please let us all know if you don't get any interviews and think it's because of a spelling error.

I am curious as to what kind of spelling error you think will doom your application. I'm sure mine had some in it. Most people probably won't even notice, unless it's something like spelling something like "Opthomology" every part of your application. I had a friend who once wrote a term paper on Napoleon Bonapart and every time he used the name in the paper he spelled it "Napolion." That's probably a significant mistake.

As has been said on other threads, you can resubmit your PS and letters if you really want to and worry excessively, but I am not sure about the CAF.
