trick also worked. very surprised I passed with the score I got. I truly felt like I failed the exam and was so under the weather in the week after the exam. although it was greatly lower than my step 1, i can't expect much more as I basically walked into the exam after having done Uworld randomly, basically a minuscule effort given my tiring intern year. The margin for error must be giant on this exam.

Took my test on Dec 17 and 26, status expired on fsmb site and no scheduling permit available on nbme, but my score report is still not available. Does this mean I have to wait another week?

Edit: never mind, was checking wrong website for score lol. Passed 🙂

....and the trick still works! My significant other passed! Got the “expired” and no link/yellow button to re-apply.

Also worked! Don't know when the permit link disappeared since it wasn't there by the time I looked but got the grey box on thursday and results at midnight (literally 12:00 wednesday). Passed!

Trick does work. Passed step 3 with v low score, but I'm happy nonetheless. How do we update programs about our score?

Re-send scores on ERAS (Documents --> additional documents --> resend). Takes about 15-30 minutes to show that it has been updated.

randomly checked interactive website and FSMB on sunday afternoon. permit link on interactive site disappeared and FSMB status shows expired with "you may begin a new application at your convenience" no yellow link yet and praying i dont have to see it at all. another 16 hours of painful wait..... keeping fingers crossed.

Edit: I guess I should update this for anyone, like me, who troll through messages to calm ones nerves and to gather information....like squirrels gathering nuts...

My status went from APPROVED to EXPIRED on 1/18/19. I took the exam 12/21 & 12/30. I, too, did not have the reapply button....just the rectangular grey box.

I am cautiously optimistic, a repeat test taker and basically OVER this whole process.

Nope, won't happen until March 27th or later... I have a special circumstance and if I fail this my whole career would likely be f**ked. I noticed the "trick" only gives results ~4 days in advance, is this the correct interpretation?

I understand! U will do well! I think it works the Sunday prior to getting your score!

I took my test on 2/1 and 2/4 and I have not received my scores. My permit link is gone though and It says "approved" and "expiring soon" in the grey box. So, hopefully it will be sooner than later! :xf:

My permit link is still up...I took my exam on February 5th and 6th. I'm guessing its still gonna be a while for me :/.

Thanks! My permit disappeared on Friday! I was checking randomly throughout last week and was surprised when it was no longer available Friday. I was expecting the same as everyone else in regards to late scores. I need Jesus to come through lol :angelic: because my face during that test definitely looked like ***Soulja Boy Voice*** Interleukkkkinss???? haha. :laugh::laugh:

Lmao! I felt the same way! Day 1 was a train wreck! Day 2 was better but I was somewhat confident with CCS! I need a miracle to pass this thing! So tired of these damn USMLEs!

Haha! Same experience. Should have just studied for Step 1 and 2 again :laugh:. You're not by yourself!! I said watch the link disappear and I still don't find out until the 27th ahaha :roflcopter:

Where did you look to try to find the permit? I clicked on the USMLE step 3 square on my FSMB and it just showed my status ("approved", but I think because my eligibility period won't end until March 31st) and I can't recall where I downloaded my permit for the test.

Edit: nvm found it. The link to my permit is still there but it led me to a message saying I already sat for an exam.

Hey guys so I’m in a similar situation I took my exam Feb 11 and 15. I guess we aren’t getting scores tomorrow? My permit link went away last Friday but it did expire. My status is still approved as of right now. I hope we don’t have to wait until the 27th.... that’s brutal .
