u guys all the best with the results i hope each one of u passes with high scores.
I am taking my exam in 2 weeks. Any suggestions last min advices? I did uworld 1.6 times just finishing the last 40% and finishing ccs the second time for most of my cases. What should I focus on for day 1 other then biostats?

Felt Like there was a lot of ob on my exam but you never know what’s will be on your exam

can someone please help me figure out what this means?

My day 2 was Nov 8th (a Friday), which means i should be getting my score this upcoming Wednesday. This morning on the NBME website, the 'print permit' link is still available, but when I click on it, i get the error "Application error: Permit is not available. The candidate may have sat for the exam or the registration is no longer active". On the FSMB website, it says i have an active registration and my status is "approved".

Does this mean I failed?

It doesn't mean anything. 1st the permit link will disappear. if it disappears it means you will get your result this week.

then your status should expire next day, so far all good. if after that on the page where you see the status : expired , but a link to apply for step 3 means you failed. otherwise you passed

This happens for me as well.


Assuming that one hasn’t previously extended their eligibility period, does the inability to apply for an eligibility extension predict test outcome at all?

My NBME permit perma-link disappeared this morning. I am now waiting on my FSMB status to switch from “approved” to “expired”.

My eligibility period doesn’t expire until late December. Is this the real reason I cannot apply for an extension?... do they simply lock your eligibility period down until scores are released... or am I unable to apply for an extension because I passed (thereby making an extension impossible)?

FSMB status has changed to “Expired” as of this Tuesday morning.

So if my permit dissapeared but my status is still “approved” does that mean my score is not out this week? Can anyone clarify this?

Yup I guess, it's till Friday for 3rd Wednesday. Mine was 11/15 and my status is expired.

Anyone waiting up for results tonight?
Permit disappeared Sunday and status changed to Expired a couple hours ago with no link to reapply.
I'm still worried LOL. It was an awful experience!

I got my results last week and was super anxious waiting for the results. I was constantly checking to make sure there was no link to reapply, when I got my results it was a PASS! So If no link to reapply, you passed. Relax and prepare to celebrate.....Congratulations in advance.

LOL I keep checking for the link to appear too!
Those stories of ppl seeing no link and still failing have traumatized me.

Took my exam 11/25 & 11/27. Permit link is gone and FSMB status says expired. My eligibility period ended 11/30. Not too sure what to make of all of this but hoping I passed. Guess we will know Wednesday!

Hello anyone waiting for results tonight? Status expired no reapply bottom, eligibility period ends 12/31. Trick still works ????
