i've been using step up to medicine in addition to worldbank to study for my step 2. but it seems like everyone else is using step up to step 2 in stead. if my goal is to get 230+ in step 2 ck, do you think i need additional resources other than :

Step Up to Medicine
World bank

p.s. i also plan to do MKSAP3 (http://www.amazon.com/MKSAP-Student...3623/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1309728729&sr=8-1)

and Pediatrics pretest with 500 questions (i'm weak on peds)

another ps. i used only worldbank and FA with annotations for step 1 and scored around 210 🙁

People are using Step Up to Step 2 because it goes along with the DIT program. I don't think it's an adequate book as a stand-alone, but combined with the DIT workbook/lectures it is a decent resource.

in addition to worldbank and step upto med, thinking of adding "secrets"
do you guys think it would be redundant to add secrets?

is this the right book?
http://www.amazon.com/USMLE-Step-Secrets-Adam-Brochert/dp/156053608X

This is the newer edition:
http://www.amazon.com/USMLE-Step-Secrets-Theodore-OConnell/dp/0323057136/ref=dp_ob_title_bk

Secrets is a super HY resource, so most people seem to recommend it.

+1 on what Captopril mentioned. DIT+Step up to Step 2 would be a combo for a more "complete" review.

I plan on doing DIT once, then after that focus on all questions (World, Rx, and Kaplan).

I am just starting to revise for Step 2 CK, and I am using FA + Q bank. Also planning on adding on Master the Boards after I memorise FA.

I have finished Master the Boards Step 2CK, now starting to fill in details with Fist Aid Step 2.

And doing questions.

Might throw in Step 2 Secrets.

so here goes my final list: !!!!!

worldbank+step up to medicine + secrets + MKSAP3 + pretest peds
