Has anyone been accepted or interviewed at Stony Brook without finishing all of the prerequisite classes. Their website says that prerequisites must be completed by time of application rather than matriculation like other schools; but i also know that schools "reserve the right to waive any requirements for an individual applicant."

Anyone know how strict Stony is on this rule? What if you finish the pre-reqs during the fall semester after you apply, they cool with that or nah?

It seems they're the only D school that wants applicants to finish all pre-reqs before applying

I think they have plenty of other applicants to choose from that have completed their pre-reqs at the time of application for them to not be sad that they missed out on knowing you because you didn't have them done.... Could be any easy way of filtering applicants out for them, and an easy way for applicants to lose money thinking they were an exception to the rule.

Patricia Berry (the admissions director at Stony Brook) has spoken to my pre-dental club a few times and has always emphasized completing the pre-reqs before applying. She mentioned that she would not fully review an application until the pre-req is completed and a grade is sent to her.
