I thought my first post here too. Really, I did. Even think I blogged about it. So I didn't come back for a few weeks or a month. Then reread what I wrote and :smack: ... it was not the finger pointing at them that was the issue, it was the three pointing back at me.

You probably had people wanting to help you until your snotty, rude, disparaging comments came whipping out. Then you got the rest of us engaged. And then started attacking us.

That's probably not going to help your cause.

At the "nasty" ... well, I've seen far worse and in my head, it is far worse but because grace and dignity are > than anything else, I'm keeping my thoughts to myself.
Lol na sry if people are going to be nasty to me I'm going to be nasty back. Not sorry.

Your premed chances are not lost. Fight it as other posters suggested.

Also, worst case scenario, apply to dentistry and forget this ever happened. People saying your chances/career is ruined are hilarious.
I feel it is hilarious too. I'm in awe.

:whoa:

@xx3344 - so, you didn't think it would be a big deal to violate the AAMC rules? or that upon coming to a forum with many premeds, med students, DOs, MDs, adcoms, etc that they might frown heavily upon your poor choice and thought you'd ... laugh at us?

Wow. I'm speechless and as everyone can attest here, that's a difficult thing to do to me.

If I did not think it was a big deal to "violate the AAMC rules," why would I create a SDN account at midnight after my exam to ask for advice..? I think only maybe 5 people have actually given me relevant information.

omg i didn't even recognize you buddy.
why are you on probation🤣

I fought the law and the law won.

(I don't know. They're angry because sometimes I curse? I guess I can't do that anymore)

Honestly, some people here on SDN are way too harsh and a little unrealistic when it comes to judging the mistakes people on here have made in the past. But responding in a rude way, especially to respected members of the SDN community, is not going to help you get any "relevant information" and advice from people.

I personally have no experience with situations like these so I can't give you advice pertaining to your situation, and for that I'm sorry.

The only advice I can give you is to just be patient and respectful to others here on SDN in order to receive that same kind of respect back, and to prepare for some ugly/negative feedback on here but not take it personally.

I'm so sorry you're in this situation. I hope it works itself out!

As a completely neutral (I'm not going to side with, attack or defend anyone) but nosy (I'm bored) party who just had to read this thread...I would just like to say....If you're gonna dish it out, better be able to take it 🙂

Language.

@xx3344 did you report me? Apparently I struck a nerve but wasn't even talking to you. You're not the OP, so I'm not sure why that was even the assumption.
Lol dude I joined SDN less than a day ago, I don't even know what I'm doing on here. Why are you accusing me of reporting you. You people are nuts hahahahahha what the heck

Omg I love this thread so much. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better
