I have taken two courses in non-U.S. undergraduate institution during the summer. For one of the two courses, I have been able to transfer the credit in my U.S. undergraduate school, but for the other, due to lack of substantial syllabus provided by professor, I was not able to approve the credit in my school before my graduation this May.
On one of schools' websites, I have read that the courses that are not approved in U.S. institution will be evaluated one by one under the guideline of World Education Service. As far as I understand, I need to submit all of official transcripts to AADSAS, and they will process those for GPA calculation, and schools will receive from them.
My question is, do schools evaluate the credit taken in non-U.S. institution, or is it AADSAS that handles it? I was wondering if this credit approval issue is dealt by AADSAS before they send my applications to schools, or schools individually evaluate those study abroad credits after they receive the application. And, I am quite worried if this additional task of course approval would quite delay the application process.
Please let me know if someone has been in similar situation.
Thank you for your help!
