Hi all,

I have about 2 weeks before I complete my sophomore year (in addition to all pre-reqs), and lately I've been thinking how to prep for the MCAT. I will be attending a research program this summer, however I plan to do some form of preparation. I intend to take the MCAT during the spring of 2013. Yes I know I have time, but since I'm a bit antsy I feel I must prepare now.

I do not intend to follow SN2ed, as I'm aware it's best to be used 3-4 months prior. Instead I intend to review concepts provided by the outlines on the AAMC websites:

Physical Science - https://www.aamc.org/students/download/85562/data/ps_topics.pdf

Biological Science - https://www.aamc.org/students/download/85562/data/ps_topics.pdf

^--- are these outlines recommended? Are there any list better and more comprehensive?

Verbal - I plan to read a passage a day from my examkrackers workbook

In the spring I will enroll in a MCAT review course. Part of the stipend I've earned from my program will be used to pay for the class. My school offers a reduced fee on both the kaplan and princeton MCAT review courses.

Advice?

On a side note: It's funny how I visited this section of SDN as a freshmen in high school, and I'm happy to have made it this far along the "pre-med" journey.
