so I am studying for my DATs yet again 🙁

obviously the first 2 times didnt work for me, as all my scores were below 17 both times, suprisingly i have a good gpa, science and overall

any suggestions as to how i should schedule my studying time? how long i should read the info, how long i should do practice questions, how many diags should i take? what books are the best. I am familiar with destroyer, princeton review, top score, and crack DAT PAT

any other suggestions? i am so nervous and scared all over again!!

I will first analyze how you studied for the past two times. Did you just memorize all the facts? or Was it not enough practice? or Did you not simulate the exam in a proper format? You have to analyze before jumping right in. It will definitely be fruitless if you don't know why you couldn't achieve the scores that you aim for.

As for a schedule, I suppose you still remember everything from the past. I would not waste time re-study. I would just do as many questions as possible and analyze each question in detail even you get them right. I would study from the explanations. I would do the questions at least twice (of course the more the better).

I would schedule your exam 3 months from the day you start studying. This will give you some pressure by having a deadline. Anyway... good luck with everything. Don't give up!

I think you should check out Kaplan blue book (or white book) and use Cliffs AP Biology to study for bio. If you have time, just going over stuff in the textbooks you used in your undergrad courses wouldn't hurt.

For practice, maybe topscore and achiever? ( I think there was a thread in the DAT forum about a new vers of achiever that just came out, might be worth looking at).

Good luck, have fun!👍:luck:
