Depends on your personal style of studying. If you've found that in the past it has been very helpful to you, then continue the trend. If you've been academically successful enough to get accepted to med school with your own strategy of being a lone wolf that doesn't play by anyone's rules but your own, then keep on keeping on.
Obviously there's wiggle room, but by and large medical school is not the time for a complete overhaul of your strategy. Go with what works, and only change if it stops working.
