stuff in mail after august mcat?

i was wondering if anyone is taking the letters that come in the mail concerning august mcat scores seriously. for instance, the md/phd program at illinois.

i figure not many people are looking at them seriously, but just wondering.

I know what you're talking about... They came before the December deadlines for me. I got that same one from Illinois and did not reply. However, I also received a letter from Washington St. Louis encouraging me to apply, and thought it was worth my time since it's such a great school. I think you should take them seriously if it's a school you're interested in. Haven't the deadlines passed anyway though?
