Submitted App with wrong end date for EC?!

Hi all!

I recently submitted my application and I realized I put the wrong end date for one of my activities....by a month. (I put June 2012 as opposed to May 2012...) Is it important enough to contact each school for correction?

Against your advice,...... i contacted UC Davis and they said that they don't change AMCAS information. 🙁 Also, I contacted University of Arizona, Tucson and they noted it down for correction when my application arrived....do I need to contact the other schools then since it was corrected at UofA? Should've waited for a response here first.... The stressfulness and worrying over the application has taken a toll on me..

Seems excessive to stress over it since it's only one month. I would think differently if it was several months or even a year difference, but it's not. I personally would ignore it. However, if your anxiety is going to eat you from the inside, go ahead and call the schools.

Yeah...It's constantly on my mind... I'll just attempt to contact all the schools I applied to......hopefully they can make note of this like Tucson did...

not a big deal, just ignore it. make sure you proofread your secondaries.

Thanks for the reassurance guys! But yeah..I made the mistake of submitting right after my finals..... which I shouldn't have done.. my mistake. It's going to be a long year.....

Nah but still in double digits.. I'll try. If they don't let me I'll just say something I did during that time in regards to it! I mean, I tried to bring it to their attention...

In the grand scheme of things this is barely even a small blemish. There are much bigger fish to fry, just use this as a reminder for the remainder of the cycle to be diligent.

Yeah lesson learned for sure. Hopefully it's not looked down upon that I made a mistake on the application....
