So, I've noticed within the OTCAS application, there is an option to submit current coursework and resumes, and submit the application without having all of your courses done. I guess an example would be if I'm taking classes right now (Fall term) and submitted my OTCAS apps before the semester is over... then there's the option to send in updated transcripts after the term and courses have been completed.

My question is this-- what is the advantage to doing that? I would love to get my applications completed and submitted just to have one less thing to worry about in my life. But would it look better just to wait until I'm done with my classes, rather than submitting an "incomplete" application (not all of my prereqs done)?

The last classes I'm taking are Intro to Soc and Abnormal Psychology. I've done fairly well in all my other prereqs, so I'm not worried about what grades I'll get in these last two ones, or how my GPA will change once I get these classes figured into the mix. [I'm only applying to AT Still-Mesa and Midwestern-Glendale through OTCAS.]

Any insight friends??

I submitted my OTCAS application while completing my last semester, with more important prereqs to complete than you are taking now. I do not think it affected my acceptances or rejections. I would absolutely apply to your schools as soon as you can.

I am in the same situation. This semester, I will be finishing A&P I, and I will be taking A&P II next semester. Do you think it is worth it to apply on OTCAS with A&P II still not on my transcript?

It depends on the school. The school I am applying for says on their website: "All coursework must be done by the end of the quarter prior to matriculation." That means if I want to apply for the August 2013 seat I must complete my coursework probably by the end of this upcoming spring. After you get accepted, the school will accept your completed coursework before you start. You simply send the transcripts to them at that point because there is no OTCAS (you already applied lol).
