sud i take part 2 or retake part 1?

hello people,
I got 83 in part 1,toefl 106,gpa-3.06.
my friends suggested that scores have been very low lately and i might end up getting less then 83 if i retake.They suggested i sud study for 2.5 months and take part 2 exam and then in dec first week retake part one if i dont get in any where.
sud i do this or just retake part one after 3 months.
Am sooo confused..any suggestion??????????

i think u should repeat part 1 coz if u repeat it now it will take u just 3 mnths. most of the things u know now. but if u wait ..next time it will take u longer.so if u are thinking of retaking..retake it NOW..
