Supplemental Apps Question

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the board so I'm not sure if this has been posted before. I recently started receiving some supplemental applications from various schools and I was wondering, does everyone get these packets or invites from schools once PharmCAS starts mailing out your info? Or do getting these supplemental apps really mean you're on the right track?

I've heard from some people in the past that all schools pretty much send you the secondaries so you give them $$$. Is this true?

I think most schools send secondaries to everyone, but some do select people before sending it out. I have to say that some of the secondaries are mostly just to get more money out of you, but you have to play by their rules...lol. Good luck filling those buggers out!

I haven't gotten any supplementals yet, and it's worrying me! I think it's because my professor did not finish my recommendation - pharmcas says it's "In progress." My professor is in India now and not answering his email and I"m so nervous!

It varies by school - Touro is an example of a school that only sends supplementals to select applicants - but not all schools are that way.
