swapping interview dates

Does anybody know if swapping interview dates is kosher? I'm on the waitlist for a spot, but I was wondering if there was a forum somewhere on here that people could use to try to arrange their own swaps (and then approach the program coordinators for approval, of course). Any thoughts as to re-arranging catergorical vs prelim/transitional years -- that is, is one more appropriate to swap than another? Right now, I'm flying to Texas on three different occasions, and I'd love to condense. I'm sure there are others out there like me. Thanks!
