In the Kaplan 2016-2017 book it says
Sympathetic effect for lungs: vasodilation, bronchoconstriction
Parasympathetic effect for lungs: bronchodilation, secretion

Is this correct? Wouldn't the lungs bronchodilate to increase airflow during a sympathetic scenario?

Kaplan is incorrect. You are correct. That is why albuterol inhalers (a sympathomimetic) are given to reversible obstructive airway conditions.
