Want to do well on Verbal and the MCAT in general? Take logic! I don't mean the statistics-based logic, but the first logic. I can already tell it's going to help immensely on the MCAT. It teaches you how to look at stuff and analyze it. Unless, of course, your class doesn't cover symbolic logic and all of that crap. It's not quite as useless as I thought.

If you have the time take it. Logic is just one aspect of what the MCAT tests, most of it is common sense, but then again they say the same thing about physics ;-). It helped me with my inference abilities.
