Hi guys,

So, I'm a bit confused and overwhelmed right now, and was hoping for some of your advice/input. Here's the deal:

I'm a TX resident, and I plan on pretty much only applying to the TX schools, so I checked the requirements for the schools, and 4 of these schools that I plan on applying to require stats. Now, I've already taken up to Calc 3 and assumed that most schools would allow me to sub that in, but these 4 schools don't.

My schedule is already pretty full for the next few years (MCAT next summer, 15-17 credit hours per semester) because although I would like to take it a bit slow, my scholarship forces me to take 30 credit hours a year to keep it, and I want to graduate in 4 years.

Now, my question is, should I take stats class this summer (instead of another class I was planning to take which will relieve my course load) or wait until I start applying, (which will be the summer after graduation) and if I get accepted into a school that require stats, take in post bac so I don't waste time and money?

Basically, should I push it off until later, but have to go through the hassle of applying post bac and taking a class in between interviews and work, or just do it now, but potentially waste time and money anyway because idek if I will need it?

Thanks for reading 🙂
