Hey everyone,

I'm a electrical engineering major and I have a 4.0 so far and just finished my sophomore year. I have to take both Physics II for engineers and Chemistry II this summer in order to keep my schedule on track. I'm taking the Physics class at a local university back home this summer. The problem is that the Chemistry II class conflicts with Physics. I've also looked at other universities in the area and they all conflict with the physics class or vice versa. The only option that fits is taking Chemistry II at my local community college this summer. Is this class going to hurt my transcript? How bad will this look, or will it not look bad at all? I know my case is pretty specific so I just wanted to know what y'all thought? Thanks in advance!

It really depends on the school some schools understand circumstances and will treat it as regular coursework. Generally make sure that this (or another) prereq is the only instance. Check with each school to see if they accept CC credits/classes. BUY the MSAR.

Nope, nope, nope. Community college is fine. I found my CC harder than my 4 year university. Just kill it and you'll be fine.

My TA said the same about CC o-chem compared my college's o-chem. The main concern is if OP's target med schools accept CC credit. r
