I started taking over some of the pre-req classes that I'd previously taken. I was wondering how dental school calculates this into one's overall science (or specific CBP science) GPA? Will they take an average of the two, old and new, or will they take the ones with the better grade?

Based on the AADSAS rules, both classes will count. So if you retake, it will count as if you took two separate courses.

i've heard they take the average of all you get from the repeated course. say, you got a C on your orgo class and an A when you repeated it. then your final is in the B range.
