taking cs first?

Is this a problem? I was planning on taking ck in a few months but my advisor want the cs complete as well by my planned date for ck. Id rather not push the closer if at all possible.

Not at all. I took CS first. I guess your worry might be that by reviewing CK you'll be more well-versed in diseases, etc that you might encounter on CS, but in actuality the situations are quite simple. I just recommend reviewing FA for CS prior to the exam so you know the format/script with no surprises on test day. I took an entire year off for research prior to taking CS and passed.

I also took CS first. I wouldn't worry about it at all. Like Mortal_Lessons said, the clinical scenarios are quite simple and you just need to be thorough. Good luck!

Why are you taking Step 1 after 3rd year? Or are you an IMG?
