My current MCAT is scheduled for August 27th which is already pretty late in the cycle. I'm a first-gen college student and my GPA is a 4.0 (unless it changes once it is transmitted to the schools) (actual GPA:3.97). I'm feeling anxious about my upcoming MCAT and have been considering pushing it back to September 11th. Would this be too late of a time to take it? (Just applying for TMDSAS)

Take the August 27th one!
Your application won't be complete at schools so they will consider you for an interview until they see an MCAT score.
If you have not submitted your primary application please do that ASAP, as it will take 4-6 weeks to be sent to your schools

Do you think my GPA and everything else on my application may make up for a mediocre MCAT score?
Not sure why you think it will be mediocre, but in Texas a timely application is key.

Come on over to our official TMDSAS threads and se what's what! #1
