Hey everyone, I'm going to take the MCAT for a 2nd time this summer and I'm not sure which test date to go for 😛
I know that since most schools operate on a rolling-admissions basis, it would be better to get applications in sooner than later (I'm applying this summer). So does it matter if I submit my application, say, as early as possible (like in June) with my first MCAT score, but taking the MCAT in July?
If I indicate on AMCAS that I will have new test scores coming in, are the medical school review committees going to not look at my application until the new scores come in? Would this weaken my chances?
I'm having a hard time deciding when to take the 2nd MCAT 😕. I don't know if the June or July ones will be considered "too late" and hurt my chances of getting in.
Any help or previous experience will be appreciated!
