Generally speaking, they like to see that you take pre-reqs at your home institution. Taking them at a CC could be interpreted as a cop-out to the difficulty and rigor of the course at your home institution. This depends on the circumstance, of course, and different people will have different views on it. If you did it before transferring and was going to CC to save money, etc., then that's not viewed in the same light as if, say, you go to MIT and decide to take intro physics over the summer at a CC.
