Hi Everyone:

Is there anyone that is familiar with Target's tuition reimbursement program? I am a P3 currently working as an intern at Target, and they seem to be offering tuition reimbursement, without a contract.

Is this true? There is no catch? lol No Contract? It just seems too good to be true....

Any Feedback?

Thanks Alot in Advance!

Yup, it's true.

Just log onto the eHR website at work with your team member # and password. Once you're in there, click on "additional benefits" (on the left of the screen), then "education assistance" and then "tuition reimbursement". You can also read about it from home, by logging on to eHR from the Target website, but you can't submit the application because this must be done using the Target Intranet. Hope that made sense.

But yeah, the max/year for pharmacy students is $3000 without any contracts. The only thing is that there's a lot of paperwork, but well worth it!

Good luck and PM me if you any other questions.

better than CVS. $5,000 a year but you have put in a year for each $5000 you received.

Any info on walgreen, walmart, grocery or riteaid tuition/scholarship?

Thank You So Much, VP_Pharm2004, I really appreciate the info. I think I'll go for it, it sounds good.

Thanks Again!

It's a pretty sweet deal, if you can ever get them to process your paperwork! Last semester was the first time I tried it, and I've been going back and forth with TMSC in Minneapolis for just over a month trying to get them some pages that miraculously disappeared from the middle of the huge 10 page document I sent them! (I think I've faxed three times and mailed it once.) Grr!

😱

That's so weird, because I've never had that problem. I sent in all my paperwork all together and pretty much highlighted everything they needed on my semester grades/transcript and tuition/loan payments.

Do you need to work certain number of hours or prove financial need to get the tuition reimbursemnet from Target?

Way ahead of you on the highlighting suggestion. But thanks anyway. Maybe I just have crappy luck.

Yea, i am interested to know this, too. I'd quit my job at kroger in a heardbeat (not that its bad, but thats a lot of free money)

Nope. Just keep your grades up 🙂

I thought there were some time restrictions- you had to complete the paper work within several days during the transition from tech to intern.

Also, I was told if you don't do the tuition reimbursement as a 1st year, then you can't do it for your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.

Can any Target employee clarify this?

Does Rite Aid have the same type or similiar program?

Walgreen's info can be found here. You can probably check other company's websites to get more information. With Walgreens, the amount of years they pay for your school, you have to put that many years back with Walgreens.
