Temple ACMS 2025-2026

As anyone tried calling the office and leaving a voice message and heard back? I called and haven’t heard anything and can’t get through to anyone!
What are you calling about? Is it something you can just find online or is it a “where’s my interview” call. Either way you’re probably better off emailing.

I want to ask about additional letters of recommendation and how many they accept. I sent my letter packet from my college but in my gap year have been working in a hospital and was wondering if they will accept another letter. Don’t know if I should email about that, would be a much easier phone conversation.

Hello, I hope everyone's application process is going well. I know that you dont need an MCAT score to apply to the program but would I have to have my MCAT score by June 1st to apply? I saw the supplemental deadline was June 15th, does that mean I can get my score by then and submit the app by the 1st?

Emailing admissions is probably your best bet considering you haven’t gotten through to anyone via calling.

Is it even worth it to still apply now. I am still working on my application and plan to submit before the end of April. Do I still have a chance?

I interviewed back in March and have not heard back yet. Should I send an inquiry email to admissions?

is it ok to use the same essays as for temple MD if we applied there this cycle? or too late to apply?

I applied back in Jan and still haven't heard anything. Any time I call the office, the lady just says to be patient, which at this point is just pissing me off lol. I thought the interviews were supposed to be held from Jan-Mar. I have kind of crossed off hearing from them at this point, sadly.

Same!! they keep talking about patience and while i understand it’s still hard to keep being patient when it’s about to be May

I have a feeling it’s sort of like a silent rejection. They pass on applications but they’ll notify you at the end of the cycle , like around June

the important thing to consider is that there are like 25-30 seats available for like 500 people applying. It’s everybody's number one choice because of the guaranteed acceptance to an MD school. Best thing to do is to treated like the lottery. DONT EXPECT TO BE ACCEPTED.

i don’t think people on here are expecting to be accepted, i think the frustration comes from being told to be patient and that there’s still “plenty of time” when things have been radio silence for months.

Isn’t the application due in June? So I honestly think the wait should be expected. The timeline is definitely inconvenient though

Withdrew application today as I just recently got accepted to med school this cycle. But I thought to maybe add some clarity/hope to those waiting?
I received an interview invite 5/1. Submitted app 4/7. Stats: 513, 3.65 cumulative and 3.42 science
I truly hope my II goes out to one you deserving folks!

Hey guys,

I was a postbacc in last year's class (current M1) and I remember being a little ambivalent bc there isn't that much info about ACMS out there. if anyone has any questions, please feel free to reach out!

Overall, I truly couldn't recommend this program enough! I went to one of those undergrads that really likes to weed people out/ curve down and I was worried that this might be the same but I've never felt so supported by a program. Everyone is truly invested in your success and they do not make it hard for you to succeed imo. The questions are straightforward and they have a free tutor system in place (made up of past postbaccs) who will explain concepts to you and tell you what to focus on. I think the hurdle more so comes in if you are an MCAT taker because you only have about a month of dedicated MCAT studying before you have to take the exam (MCAT classes and tutoring are provided throughout the year but it can be hard to juggle MCAT studying with classes during the year. I wasn't an MCAT taker so I can't speak to that aspect).

ACMS gave me a huge leg up in M1. It freed up so much of my time to do other things like research and volunteering because I already saw a good chunk of the material already. I had a built in support system and I already knew which way to study diff topics in a way that worked for me instead of having to take time to figure that out. The firehose analogy is very true in med school and i saw a lot of my non-postbacc friends get very overwhelmed bc they didn't have a system figured out yet.

my stats: 515 MCAT, 3.76 cumulative, 3.71 science GPA

(as a sidenote, they start postbacc interviews after they do all the med school ones so they don't usually start until late march (i think???) and they probably interview through June so its a lengthy wait if u applied earlier in the cycle. I think i got an A around 2 weeks after I interviewed and I applied close to the submission deadline.)

Hey does anybody know how many people get invited for interviews or the likelihood? I was put under review 4/21 and the wait has been hard
