I meant that if it doesn't come out at midnight, I'll stay up until it does. Trust me. I'm cool. I stay up late, honest. I don't have a curfew or anything!

lol. but im guessing it will be pretty slow to log in around that time. tmdsas better have improved their servers!

Well, here is a look back at last year. And you could always say... hey... it could be worse... or hmmm I guess it can't get any worse. Either way, SMILE after you watch this. 🙂 It will be good for you.

2006 in Review
 
Well I had this crazy feeling today that I had somehow transcended a week, and today was actually Feb 14. So, for the past few hours I've been sitting here thinking "GREAT GRANDMOTHER'S SPATULA, I'm going to know my results in 3-4 hrs, holy crap, holy crap, brace yourself...."

HAHAHAHPANICAHAHAHAHAHPANICHAAHAHAHAHAPANICHAHAHAHHAHAPANICPANICPANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!




And then, like a brick, it hit me. I still have to wait another week.

How, tell me how, am I going to survive another week of this!?
Can't...wait...much...longer....

I presume I'll survive, just like I've survived the past 6 or so.

Little sidenote: posted a comment in the interview attire thread I thinK you guys might enjoy.

The excitement around Dick Vitale was pretty exciting too. Even though I don't really know why. I'm not a huge basketball fan (I like all things Aggie, further than that I just don't know) but I know he has about zero nice things to say about us, EVEN when we win. t.u. kept it pretty exciting though.

Oh yeah.... on another note I sure hope Acie is ok. He looked no bueno after his fall. And his poor dad looked SOOO worried. And my seats were so good (well to me) that I feel like Antanas and really connected. I mean were likethis 😀 (in my head at least, I mean he's 6' 10"!!! Its amazing!)

OH and governor good hair was there too. I just wished he would have stopped playing with his cell phone and watched the game.

Ok and you know I'm bored when I talk this much about sports, on a pre-med website. I'll just watch your countdown patiently Dr. House 🙂

You could always, you know, freeze yourself.

But be careful u might end up in the future where badgers are fighting humans over what to call atheism.

Hah! I don't know about ASAP, but its probably one of the first decisions he's made that I can actually agree with. But that's just me. I tend to have strong opinions toward vaccinations of all kinds
 
Okay some entertainment for my Texas peeps waiting on the match:

The Washington Post's Style Invitational asked readers to take any word
from the dictionary, alter it by adding, subtracting, or changing one
letter, and supply a new definition.

1. Bozone (n.): The substance surrounding stupid people that stops bright
ideas from penetrating. The bozone layer, unfortunately, shows
little sign of breaking down in the near future.

2. Foreploy (v): Any misrepresentation about yourself for the purpose of
getting laid.

3. Cashtration (n.): The act of buying a house, which renders the subject
financially impotent for an indefinite period.

4. Giraffiti 👎: Vandalism spray-painted very,very high.

5. Sarchasm 👎: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person
who doesn't get it.

6. Inoculatte (v): To take coffee intravenously when you are running late.

7. Hipatitis 👎: Terminal coolness.

8. Osteopornosis 👎: A degenerate disease. (This one got extra credit.)

9. Karmageddon 👎: its like, when everybody is sending off all these really
bad vibes, right? And then, like, the Earth explodes and it's like, a
serious bummer.

10 Decafalon (n.): The grueling event of getting through the day consuming
only things that are good for you.

11. Glibido (v): All talk and no action.

12. Dopeler effect 👎: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when
they come at you rapidly.

13. Arachnoleptic fit (n.): The frantic dance performed just after you've
accidentally walked through a spider web.

14. Beelzebug (n.): Satan in the form of a mosquito that gets into your
bedroom at three in the morning and cannot be cast out.

15. Caterpallor (n.): The color you turn after finding half a grub in the
fruit you're eating.

And the pick of the literature:

16. Ignoranus 👎: A person who's both stupid and an a--hole.

Damn mane you are making out like a bandit...NYC, Chi, U of M. Congrats on all of those for sure. Seems like yesterday we were arguing the fairness of Dr. D's MC questions and having Friday afternoon prep sessions. I hope that was good practice for something down the road. Are you favoring any schools?

As for being ready for SA....yes. We have been to SA 4 times thus far in our search for a hizzy but no luck yet. I have put in my resume with a couple of staffing agencies for a temporary job so I don't go crazy but no luck yet. Just sitting here on the tundra of Amarillo, waiting........

When I left Texas for interviews OOS I suddenly remembered: "Wow, I'm only a liberal when compared to the rest of Texas"

I saw the game on Monday, and even though I do not go to A&M; I am very glad the won. Especially getting to Acie Law playing, considering I grew up 10minutes away from him and was at his high school graduation that year.

Ahhh you're scaring me!!! At least there are pro-choice and lgbq groups (two) where im going. All i need are a few like-minded people 😛
 
I feel like making myself sick, so I ask the question, has any one had an LMF change. I know of some people having an LMF change on 2-1-07. However, it does not seem that there has been any other LMF change change since. I am just curious what is going on out there in the universe of LMF land???

I had one acceptance and my LMF has not changed since 12-19-2006. However, my acceptance came on 11-15-2006. So I do not know what that means, but I am hoping it means that I matched to another school for the match. However, only time will tell
 
I can not wait for you guys to match because us oosers have to wait for your results so we can hopefully find out about ours 🙁

for the love of science, LMFU means *nothing* regarding acceptances/rejections. Stop looking at your application page until match night. You'll be saner and happier for it! 😉

this is funny. people who have no LMFU change are worried sick and people who do have an LMFU change are a wreck! personally, i had a 020107 LMFU change and my gut is telling me it's a rejection!

i keep repeating in my head, "it doesn't mean anything, it doesn't mean anything, it doesn't mean anything."
