I've had an interview, but validation still reads 000000. Should I call? 😎

I dont think about the match... don't have time.

Between practice, work, sro, dota, wc3, house, smallville, greys, lost, stra trek, scrubs, southpark, colbert report, daily show, family guy, futurama, simpsons, 70s show, and nancy grace theres not much room for thinking
 
does anyone have the link for last year's texas interview/match thread? I can't seem to find it...

i kind of want to ready myself and know what happens next if says "did not match" (like call up schools for waitlists or such...)

I dont think there is a correlation between validation and matching. Once you submit your transcript and it is verified your RCW and LMFU is updated. As for validation date.. its all speculation... Don't worry about it! Its hard not to stress out but just relax.. it will all work out.. watch some Scrubs yall will laugh and forget about it!!🙂 👍
 
anyone else have the glitch of having an "extra" acceptance that you did not have before on the prematch multiple offers tab

Thanks guys for liking my song. I hope it wasn't too depressing. I think that, overall, it has a good message. I'm gonna keep trying no matter what it takes. Trust me, no one will be more disappointed and/or confused about a match rejection (33 MCAT, 4.0 GPA in master's program with thesis in organelle motility). However, if the unfortunate circumstance arises and I don't get in, I won't think twice about it. Next year starts in three months!
 
Just got off the phone with TMDSAS. Was told that the validation date does not predicate any matching or vice versa. Each file, with an interview, has to be validated by the end of the application cyle. Another myth debunked. 😎
 
So, I've been reading the waitlist from last year and appearantly many ppl with better stats than me and older than me did not get in. Oh god, now I'm really freaking out...😱

keep your head up...remember its about the applicant as a whole...stats do not dictate the decisions made...if you got the interview it is pretty much a level playing field
 
I was the one that noticed a possible fluke on the website (I had accepted my prematch-offer to A&M and declined my TCOM one, but noticed on Friday that the prematch accept/decline site had me accepting my UT-Galveston (never offered a pre-match acceptance, but ranked as my first choice) and declining on A&M/TCOM).

So I called TMDSAS and explained everything and she asked if UT-Galveston was ranked above A&M, and I said yes. And then she went on to explain that that was how the schools were completing the match (whatever that means). And then I asked her "So its going to say UT-Galveston next to schools matched on Feb 15)?" and she said "I believe so..." But her answers made me think that she didnt know what she was doing, or maybe it was on purpose....

maybe someone else should call for details... i'm filled with all sorts of emotion (excitement, anxiety, confusion, etc) that the conversation with tmdsas lady is now a blur....

I am wondering if anyone had this "fluke" happen for UTSA or UTSW

That is very good news. I'm going to stop speculating. I'm done with the theories. Good luck everyone! We all still have a chance!
 
I'm a newbie (actually, a reformed lurker), so please take it easy on me! :laugh: I know how tough you gunners can be.

I'm a non-trad and NON-gunner (far from it) who has felt a bit too shy/intimidated to participate in SDN until now.😳 I have grown to really like the people in this thread (I think it's a Texan thing), and I guess that's why I've decided to say hello.

Congrats to all who have been accepted (even if you learned via the fluke!) ...and for the rest of us, I have no real advice, since I'm going crazy myself :scared: ...except just to be positive.:luck:

Anyway, I am a Texan, only applied to TMDSAS schools (except for SW)interviewed at UTSA in Sept. '06 and UTH in Jan. '07. No pre-Match offers, so no lucky 'fluke' for me. 👎 I had 2 LMFU changes, each shortly (7-10 days) after my interviews, but no Validation yet. All my school stuff was complete last July, so no RCW updates since then.

All the talk about LMFUs and Validation Dates is driving me insane, but I can't get away from it!:scared: BTW, AdamMD, LOVED THE SONG!!) 😀

Can we even trust the TMDSAS ppl?
 
I'm the same, validation date of 000000 and an lmfu change of 021207. I bet it means i sneezed earlier 🙂
 
My LMFU changed to 021207 as well!

How many interviews/where did you interview if your LMFU changed today? Any pre-matches?

let's figure this out. haha. or...let's speculate so we all go insane.

i have no validation date and my LMFU went from 020107 to 021207. i had no pre-match offers and only interviewed at tech. until today i was confident of a rejection but with this new LMFU change i find myself with an ounce of lingering hope.

what about you guys?
 
My LMF changed today too. I do have a pre-match offer.

1) UTSA
2) TAMU
3) TCOM (pre-match offer)

So we will see what happens
 
my LMFU also changed from 2/1 to 2/12, i had no prematch offers but interviewed at Tech and UTMB.

BTW, I wonder what the number would be if you could somehow compare the level of nervousness of the people with pre-match offers with the level of nervousness of those w/o any offers:

Accepted and just waiting to find out where exactly / Maybe not accepted anywhere = .1 (or less?)

Sorry, this wait is just driving me crazy!
 
With my 021207 lmfu, I had no prematch offers and interviewed at UTSA and A&M.
 
lol still no validation date but my LMFU did change to 021207. i swear they're playing mind games with us. they should just keep those numbers to themselves haha.

Where did you interview besides TAMU? (TMDSAS, of course)

Good luck to you too. I hope the LMFU means another acceptance, but if not I will be very happy going to TCOM. All will be known in about 2 days. I cant take it anymore!!!!
 
I just got my LMFU changed to 021207 too. I'm an adamant non-believer but just fo kicks--

1) UTHSCSA
2) UTMB
3) Tech
4) TCOM (prematch offer)

no A&M on my list but there do seem to be a lot of us with TCOM prematch offers..

In other news: I CAN"T BLOODY TAKE THIS WAITING ANYMORE!!!! I want Feb 15th to come but then I don't, then I do, then I don't. ugh ugh ughhhhhhh
