TEXAS SAT/ACT scores

Does anybody here know how important SAT and ACT scores are for Texas DS's? I was surprised to see them on my Application profile on TMDSAS so maybe they do look at those scores with high regard? Opinions?

Hopefully not. To be honest, I'd rather them not see my scores...hehehe.

It just shocked me because there it was, right at the top of the "review profile" page telling me my SAT and ACT scores. Now after what you just said I wish I would've left those sections blank. I don't even want to even think about that crap anymore. Those were rough times and memories destined to be forgotten.

they do that so that if there is a severe aberration like u make a 16AA but you have a 1400 sAT score then it's like yeah..the dude is smart but he just freaked out that type of thing...it just shows them a different standard test to base upon an overall comparision
