yeah. I really was trying to sound interested when I asked my UTSW interviewer, "So tell me, how will having all these Nobel Laureates around make me a better doctor?" He paused, the crickets chirped, and he said point blank, "It won't. And as for being humanistic, it seems that you are already strong in that area and don't need it so much in a med school." So I said, "Greeeat," while a ****-eating grin spread itself across my face. 😀

I just want to ease everyone of any anxiety or fear they might be feeling right now, for whatever reason, by letting everyone know that we have awesome squirrels at TCOM. They like to frantically run back and forth on the ledges outside the library windows, and then jump about 20 feet for a tree when they finally realize that's their only way down.

I'm not too sure about that, but I think a lot of people are contacting the schools to check. I know that some of them wait awhile before forming their waitlist, but I'm not sure which ones. Good luck, though! 🙂

Ahh, the aftermath. Congrats to all of ya'll who matched!!! Unfortunately I didn't once again 🙁 whatever, but I have Kansas to look forward to. Whoohoo!!

For those that didn't match in tx, start planning right away, and DO NOT depend on the waitlist. Also remember that the some of the oos DO schools are still accepting apps.

I know its kinda early, but if any of ya'll are looking for apartments to live in, I'll be out of mine this summer. Its a duplex two blocks from school, two bedrooms, cheap rent, comfortable. ac101ac?

I read somewhere else that LECOM-PA is starting to pull people off of their waitlist. Might not be too late to apply.
