hey so i recently just had my med school interview. im wondering if i have to send a thank you note to my interviewer? i tried asking for his business card but he said he forgot to bring them. so if i have to, should i just send it via snail mail to the admisssion office and have them forward it to my interviewer? thanks!

It's nice (and professional) to do. Just send it to the adcom office and they'll forward it. There are TONS of other threads on this - search for them since there are arguments for or against if you need more...

Two words: Search. Function. Most common questions (like this one) have been asked and answered thousands of times, and you can usually get a faster answer that way.

For the record, thank you notes are a matter of courtesy, not helping you get in; you won't "lose points" for not sending thank-yous. If you feel compelled to send one, sending it to the admissions office would probably be fine, or so would email since a little digging will usually lead you to a campus directory on most schools' websites. Some people argue endlessly about whether it's better to be more "professional" and snail mail it or to save paper and email it and give them the opportunity to respond if they like; the truth is it doesn't matter.
