In addition to a thank you note to a faculty interviewer, should one also send a thank you to a student interviewer?

It can't hurt. It's likely they've submitted their report to the adcom the same day but you never know!

Yes, you should definitely send a thank you note to EVERY interviewer. A note is always appreciated and it shows class and professionalism.

We're volunteering our time just like faculty. Of course these letters aren't going to influence us and I don't really care if I get one or not.
