Hey guys, I just want you all to know that from up to taking the test until now, I feel like I gotten to know you guys as SDN friends, even if we never met. I wish you guys the best of luck and no matter what, good scores or bad, please don't disappear. You have your SDN family to comfort you.

Anyone else getting tired of the phrase, "You have no scores yet."

They should switch it up with every log-in.
1. You have no scores yet.
2. You STILL have no scores.
3. You can stop checking. You know that your scores are not up yet.
etc...

please god let them be posted tomorrow.
the upset stomach has officially set in.

are you guys feeling pretty confident? i was for a couple weeks and now i'm doubting everything and i have no idea what to expect. and i've lowered my expectations by like 4 points. please tell me this is just nerves.

Confident about everything except VR. (6-11:scared:wtf?)

Wish I had found this thread earlier! Why is everyone hoping the scores are up Monday, I was under the impression they weren't out until the 19th (score release schedule)?!

And yes, the refresh button is my best friend for the next 48hrs.

I walked of the test feeling relatively good. After a month of waiting I have slowly progressed to this mentality where I'm dreading looking at them.

I just want a 30. :xf:

And am I the only one who has been exploring all my options based on this score?

If it's 32+ I'm applying md-phd
If it's ~30 I'm going straight md (here in the States).
If it's <30 I'm going to the Caribbean.

Or I might throw this decisiveness out the window and take the darn thing again.
But I've been in touch with all the different adcoms... trying to run all the possible scenarios... and it all comes back to what's your MCAT score?

Ok. I'm gonna try and stop now.

I'm the same way. So many of my verbal answers were FAR from a sure thing (unlike many science questions which are sure things) making it incredibly difficult to predict how well I did. I would be very happy with a 10 because it at least it wouldn't hurt me.

Well the April 4th test takers got theirs on May 4th. That's where the May 18th assumption comes from.

the past few test dates have received their scores a day before the listed date. the april 4 testtakers got their scores around 12-1pm (judging from when they started posting scores on SDN.)

Yeah sometime around there (I hope). Around 3pm EST the past couple releases have come out. I am just going to try and sleep in as late as possible then play as much Wii as I can to get my mind off of it until then. But today is going to suck tremendously!

As far as the test goes...I keep going back and forth between feeling good about it and feeling bad about it. I dwell on those couple physics questions I just couldn't figure out or calculate. Then I dwell on that one biology stand-alone I looked up and saw I got wrong. Then I think about verbal and realize that I don't remember what went on there. I cannot gauge how I did on that. Then I think of writing and think of how weak my essays were. This sucks!! Just give me my scores!!

Same here! I know 2 PSs I got wrong and then I keep trying to convince myself that those were the only two, lol I NEED MY SCORES!

The only final I care about is tomorrow and I'm having a helluva time trying to study for it. Anybody remember that thread that compared list dates for score release to actual dates?

How is it that it takes them 30 days to release your score when this test is computerized?!

I guess it takes 30 days for them to figure out the "curve" or however they modify the scores. Also grading the essays, which nobody cares about.

It's stupid, we should be getting our scores a LOT sooner.

So, how is everyone going to reveal their scores?

1. Just keep refreshing until they're posted?

2. Watch SDN and then look.

3. Watch SDN and then reveal the scores one by one left to right to soften the blow?

I think I am going to do number 3. I waited a month for this stupid score so I might as well get some additional excitement out of it AND avoid checking the score all day.

I'm going to try to avoid sitting there and hitting refresh every 2 minutes. I'll go take my final, go listen to some presentations for another class, come back, check SDN. If they aren't up I'll check SDN 2-3 hours later.

Alright, guys. Today's your big day (hopefully). Best of luck to you all!!

If you get something you are happy with, congratulations! If you're not happy, hang in there. From a 3 timer, I completely get that it's a challenge to jump back in the game - but you totally can beat this test.

I'll be around all day if any of you need anything. If you don't want to post your score here, feel free to PM for advice.

I really hope they are released today. I had *three* MCAT dreams last night. In one of the dreams, I got a writing score of "E". 😕 I got a 22 and 26 on the other two. I hope the real thing is much higher!

Me too! I didn't even dream the letters, though. I managed to get section scores that did NOT add up to the composite, lol ...oh and one of the sections was negative.
