hi.... I know this question is brought up a lot but I will bring it up again. As a junior who is looking into the medical field, is it possible for me to become a DO. I have taken Bio1 and 2 and passed with A's but I have only taken Chem 1 and got an 85%. My teacher said I better change my mind about going to med school since I didn't take chem 2. Was this my death sentence for not becoming a doctor?

Don't worry about it.

Focus on getting into college, do well, and see if medicine is for you. HS courses have exactly zero consideration on if you are a capable of becoming a physician

I failed my first chemistry exam in high school, but I have just been accepted to two DO programs this year. The high school years really do not matter. Your teacher is grossly misinformed, and so take that criticism with a grain of salt.
