We can hope that this will prompt the American College of Emergency Physicians to join the Massachusetts Medical Society, AAFP and AMA in calling for the training of more FPs, and to support FPs continuing to do a broad scope of practice, including working in the emergency room.     I guess it's always good to "hope"....

    Seems like from the rumblings around here that most EM docs and EM wannabes are more interested in keeping us OUT of the ER.

    But then, SDN is hardly the real world...
