You're the only one that can get away with resurrecting this thing so early (for us at least). Hope the heat isn't keepin you up again!

Heat?! 😛 Just open the window. The midwest forecast calls for snow this week.

Snow. And the el stops shut off the heat lamps in March. 😡

The snow melted by lunchtime up here. But yes, snow in April == wtf

I think it's crazy that it snowed places today. A piece of me is jealous, though. I miss snow.

It's hard to describe it. I look at your avatar, and I just... I feel like everything's going to be okay.

And the snow was pretty weak; it was a mere dusting. But that it's even possible to snow at this time of year is maddening.

I agree, its so cute!

No snow here in Lebrons ex-hometown...but it was pretty chilly, around 37 degrees. My boyfriend is in texas and its 93 🙁

Quick poll...I'm a big outdoors guy and trying to pick a new place to go camping/hiking/mountaineering.

Would y'all rather go to: Alaska, Colorado, Wyoming, or Montana

I've saved up some $ so price shouldn't be a problem.

Didn't mean to be offensive. Just don't have any close Christian friends. So I am quite oblivious to that world. The only reason why I thought of Easter is because of Hop.

Well I heard on the radio that there was an Easter egg hunt yesterday so thats why I thought that Easter was yesterday.

I'm from Colorado, I'd say the hiking and camping spots are more well-developed and there's plenty of crazy awesome trails that you can go on that are seldom-traveled. I've been backpacking through the Rockies and they are bee-you-tiful.

There's probably great stuff in all 4 states, but access in Colorado is easier since we're the most civilized of the bunch 😀

Ahhh, it's so hot here! I think I was just awake due to super unusually fast internet and stubbornly wanting to do everything possible before i went to bed.

I miss the snow soooooo much. It's like magical fairy dust. And I won't see it until the winter of 2012. SO long to wait!

Also I agree with the avatar love. So cute and awesome!

I love Colorado; it has a special place in my heart from trips as a kid. I did a 10 day hiking/camping trip there in 8th grade that was amazing. The trails were beautiful and just the right amount of difficulty. Have fun!

I guess it's not technically late night for me anymore, but morning. Time to go save some babies! J/k...sorta :laugh:
 
Not really much of a camper type. My idea of roughing it is staying at a hotel. 😛

Of your four, I'd say Alaska. The other three should be easy to hit up whenever, and Alaska's so far away and exotic.

Are you East-Coast based? I was going to suggest also considering areas along the AT, like the Smokies or the White Mountains.
 
Definitely Alaska, I've heard it's so beautiful! Not that the others aren't haha, but Alaska does seem more exotic as someone said above

I just had this conversation with people today! The scrubs musical is the best scrubs episode. Greys failed on their musical attempt.

(I know it's early for this thread but I'm about to take a nap and may never wake up)
 
I just got back from $0.50 wing night at Buffalo Wild Wings with some friends and now I am reading about adult neurogenesis in the CNS for my devlopmental neurobiology class.

Scrubs got everything right (of course we're talking about seasons 1-8, that other season doesn't count)

best medical themed show on television ever.

WY!! For the RMNP I have to put in a good word. Of course, I'm from CO and ALWAYS head up to WY for the outdoorsy pursuits in Yellowstone and Teton when I can (at least once/summer). Yellowstone, if you've never been, is the most incredible of all of our national parks. Between the geysers, the back-country, and the wildlife, it's definitely the best bang for your buck in the lower 48. I've been to the Smokies, I've been to Rocky Mountain, I've been to Arches/Canyonlands, and many others, and I would pick Yellowstone over all of them in a heartbeat. That said, I've not been to Glacier National Park or AK, both of which are supposed to be awesome. Enjoy your vacation!
 
Pretty terrific. Now if I can just make it through the next 2 weeks I'll be done with the class forever. :laugh:
 
I actually liked OChem lab, got to do some pretty amazing stuff in it. Like make banana oil ester (that stuff smelled so good I wanted to put it in a bottle and spray it as an air freshener). Plus it really helped my grade considering I would fare so much better on lab exams/quizzes than on my lecture material.
