Welcome to The Little Mermaid WW! Egg and I will be your mod gods supreme. (For the uninitiated, CDO is the Egg, and I am the QUEEN NOW PEASANTS)

The Rules!

1. You may open a pm thread with the player beneath you on the roster. If you are the last person on the roster, then your buddy is the first person.
2. No screenshots. No quoting mod pms. If you must, you may copy and paste text.
3. Do not edit lynch votes.
4. Try to be active, but benevolent mod gods that we are, Egg and I won't kill you if you don't post x number of times a day. You are welcome.
5. I will love you SO SO MUCH if you submit night actions early. By midnight PST would be wonderful. The deadline isn't until 6 am, but what can I say, I like sleeping in. I will close night early when I can.
6. Deadlines will be as follows: Day closes at 7 pm PST, Night closes as 6 am PST. Unless I'm stuck at work or Egg is at school or aliens abduct us.
7. Dead must post in ********* stars *********
8. Don't share night results with anyone before the write-up is posted.

I liked Finn's post because of the funnies. Now I'm concerned that some of my fave peeps already want me dead. This is in revenge for the last game isn't it? I grant you, that game was INSANE, but I thought it'd been long enough...

My role is straight up village, my ability is a new one I haven't seen exactly like this before. I do not have phenomenal cosmic powers this time, which makes me a little sad.

I don't remember who all is playing - is MJ playing/his own person? I would like to vote for him D1 for nostalgia.

I had to rewatch this movie last night cuz its been a while

I know PBC mentioned it was going to be an easy/light game, but people have hinted elsewhere that she likes chaos mechanics, factions, etc. What are the chances she threw one into this game?

My role is straight up village, my ability is a new one I haven't seen exactly like this before. I do not have phenomenal cosmic powers this time, which makes me a little sad.

This makes it sound like there's at least one new mechanic that should keep us on our toes.

It's actually 15 because #2 doesn't exist. I think 3 wolves sounds reasonable, but that's without me thinking about the possibility of chaos/neutral.

Hmm 3? So Ursula, Flotsam, and Jetsam? Whats the likelihood that villain roles correspond with wolves? Too easy?

ETA: and just so I don't keep asking every game; Whats the typical ratio of village to non-village most people like to keep?

It's hard to tell at this point without having any roles to go by. The Lion King was pretty straight forward, but my first WW game had criminals as villagers and cops as wolves. Some games are mixed rendering role names useless.

ETA: and just so I don't keep asking every game; Whats the typical ratio of village to non-village most people like to keep?

I usually go by the 20%-25% ratio for wolves, but the percentage is often less if there are other non-village roles.

PBC almost always has something exciting up her sleeve. Some more... "exciting" than others (looking at you, Veronica Mars *eyetwitch*). 😛

Already answered, but generally low 20% wolves. PBC loves chaos so unless she's screwing around with us they'll be one of those to probably nudge us in quarter-ish scum percentage.

It's possible just there are likely mechanisms in place to make it harder to find them like Hook seering as Darling in Peter Pan and Johnny Snow changing how people seer in Dr. Horrible. We'll just have to wait and see what's been cooked up for this game though

As for the late adds being wolves, anything is possible with PBC including being added as village or 3rd party

I feel like unless it's a mashup of the 2, it's going to be pretty easy to tell which one its based on by the roles...? I don't think there's a ton of overlap between the book & the movie. Book is also depressing af and doesn't have very many characters to draw from.
