I think It may be too early for this, but curious to know who's writing on this date. Join this thread and let's share knowledge/experience and blow this test out of the water!!

scores out..kinda dissapointed...33R...
10PS (WTF???), 9VR, 14BS

I got rocked at PS lol. That wasn't expected.
I expected 13, 10, 15,, Oh well

31Q. It's kind of what I expected, my highest practice was a 32. I am signed up for July 6th and will likely take it again. Feels pretty good, but certainly not phenomenal.

i got that exact rundown the first time i took it (last July). 9 PS, 10 VR, 9 BS. But then I took it this time and I got 10-10-10.

Weird feelings cus I thought I hammered the verbal section. Average in my last 4 AAMC practice tests was a 32. But I'm not the best test taker in the world so there you go.

Congrats on being done! For those who are. For those who aren't, take it again!

This is my first post on SDN. Yay.

33P

12 PS
9 V
12 BS

Actually expected lower on the writing sample since I shotgunned that section in about 30 minutes. Scored a little higher than expected on PS and a little lower than expect on BS. Verbal was...well, verbal. I really had no idea, ok with a 9 since I scored well on the other two sections.

Don't worry, be happy! When you consider that the national averahe is a 24 and the average of all accepted med school students is slightly above 30, that's a great score.

32R

PS 9
V 11
BS 12

Was hoping for at least a 10 on the PS, but am ok with a 9. Should I retake based on the PS?

Got mine. 10/10/10. I'm not going to complain. I did bomb my writing sample though (M). You guys think that will really hurt me?

Anyway, how did everybody else do?

Not at all. Many medical schools don't even look at that score from what I hear, and those that do only care if you got a J or K (which is a far cry from M and basically means you can't form coherant sentences).

31N (11/9/11)
Actually thought I would do a lot worse(been getting high 20's on practices). However, still not too happy with my score.

35N, 14-10-11, pleasantly surprised!

though score is kinda unbalanced, but i'm not complaining.

AAMC average was 32.5,
AAMC 3: 33 (13-9-11)
AAMC 4: 32 (12-9-11)
AAMC10: 32 (11-10-11)
AAMC11: 33 (12-11-10)

and was feeling like 27-28 coming out of the test. YEAH, now I don't need to re-take!

Ok, thanks.

Oh Btw, This was a retake for me. Raised it from a 22 the first time around.

Oooof..wish I could pull off a 14 on the physical sciences! Congrats, mate!👍

Ugh... 34R. Two points less than my practice average and effectively screwing me for the competitive schools I wanted to go to, since my GPA is already subpar. Debating a retake. I hate this test.

It could be worse. 34 is an EXCELLENT score. Retake, and you could really screw yourself (more so than you think now).

34 is excellent. If you have at least around a 3.4-3.5 and solid ECs that will get you into more schools than it wont.

Getting a 34 might essentially be the same as getting a 36,38 etc. At this point, they know you can rock the MCAT. Maybe get one really amazing EC (medical volunteering abroad etc) and you'll be good to go.

Kind of in shock right now......my AAMC practice scores were 36-38 and never below a 33 on ANY practice test.

Just got 11/10/10 for a grand spankin total of 31R.

My cGPA is 3.82 in BME and my sGPA is 3.93

Thoughts??

Is it just me or do we have a lot of people with great scores in our testing session? 😕

I think it's more the fact that people who actually take the time to read up on things thoroughly and interact on this forum are likely to take things more seriously and study harder than your average tester.
