For anyone who's interviewed here this year, feel free to correct me, but I don't think Dr. Brown is sitting down one on one with applicants anymore like he has in previous years. They've revamped the whole interview process; in the past we went through the case study with Dr. Brown, and a panel interview (often with one or two faculty and a student). This year, I believe you go through a couple (2 or 3?) one on one interviews with different faculty and students. I know
@Faux was here recently - is this how it went down? Do they still make you do the writing sample?
I'd agree with what the 'gloo said, though - Dr. Brown is one of the friendliest, most welcoming professors in the school and wants you to feel comfortable. Chatting with him was the best part of the interview. If they do still make you do this, just be honest and fair with your opinion (present both sides of the issue, then deliver your opinion with some justification). I think you'll find it's one of the easiest parts of the day.
